In addition to traditional plan view layouts, we also generate 3-D graphics that give an accurate representation of what any roof line will be – from virtually any perspective- by showing every truss in place.

Our Bay Minette production facility is housed in a 164,000 square foot building and is home to two 120 ft. steel top tables sporting three gantries with exacting laser technology. Mobile Lumber’s truss delivery trucks are some of the best in the industry. With 53’ and 66’ Trussmaster heavy-duty stretch roll-off truss trailers we are able to get almost any size load safely to the jobsite.

A Quick Note on Bracing
It is essential that trusses be securely braced, both during installation and after permanent installation. Individual trusses are designed as structural components. All trusses should be installed straight, plumb and aligned at the specified spacing. Trusses should be inspected for structural damage.
Temporary restraint/bracing is an important element of safe truss installation. Refer to Recommended Design Specifications for Temporary Bracing of Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses (DSB-89) by the Truss Plate Institute or Building Component Safety Information BCSI 1-03 Booklet by TPI and WTCA. For your convenience, we’ve included a link to the B2 Summary- Truss Installation & Temporary Restraint/Bracing. This 8-page document provides options for safe temporary restraint/bracing installations and strongly emphasizes how all lateral restraint needs to be stabilized with diagonal bracing, while showing how to get the first five trusses erected, restrained and braced efficiently and safely for the benefit of the crew and the project. Temporary bracing should remain in place as long as necessary for the safe and acceptable completion of the roof or floor.
